About Me

Education and Background

Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, I have witnessed first-hand the need for mental health services in my community. I obtained my Bachelor's of Arts in Criminal Justice and my Master's of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy both at The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). Working in a non-profit setting for the past five years has allowed me to work with extremely resilient individuals whom often times had never been in therapy before. This is where my passion to provide high-quality care was born. I truly believe that everybody deserves a comfortable and safe environment to be vulnerable and explore their life journey.

My Treatment Focus

I believe each individual has the power to find the best solutions for themselves, sometimes they just need some guidance. My hope is to help decrease negative feelings, while increasing personal growth, self-acceptance and self-esteem. I truly believe every client is capable of playing an active role in their treatment, I simply help guide them.

This approach used alongside other modalities can help those struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, substance abuse, breakups or family stressors.
